💼 Role Overview

IDFC FIRST Bank is hiring a DevOps Engineer to support and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on AWS cloud operations, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure reliability.

You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and high availability of critical banking applications.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

🔹 AWS Cloud Management

Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure
Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and scalability
Ensure security and compliance of cloud systems

🔹 Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Packer
Maintain reusable and scalable IaC templates
Collaborate with teams to standardize cloud provisioning

🔹 CI/CD & Automation

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Automate application deployments
Improve reliability and release efficiency

🔹 Monitoring & Optimization

Monitor system performance and availability
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues
Identify opportunities for performance and cost optimization

🔹 Collaboration

Work with cross-functional teams
Communicate infrastructure changes clearly
Support continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Mandatory Skills

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer
Strong knowledge of AWS services
Hands-on experience with Terraform & Packer
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Scripting skills (Python / Bash)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication abilities

⭐ Good-to-Have Skills

AWS Certifications (DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect)
Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack)
Understanding of serverless and cloud-native designs

🎓 Education Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- BE / B.Tech or related field
