🌐 About the Role
As a Kubernetes Intern, you will work on designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure and delivery pipelines. You’ll gain end-to-end ownership of environments and learn how to keep systems secure, automated, and reliable in real production-like setups.
You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers while working with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, AWS/Azure, and observability tools.
🛠 What You’ll Work On
☸ Kubernetes & Container Platforms

Build and operate Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS or Azure AKS

Configure:

Ingress controllers (NGINX, ALB, Application Gateway)

Autoscaling using HPA and Cluster Autoscaler
-
Resource limits, namespaces, and network policies
-

Deploy applications using Helm charts
-
Troubleshoot real-world issues related to pods, networking, DNS, and scaling
🧱 Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Provision cloud infrastructure using Terraform
-
Create reusable Terraform modules for:

Networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, security groups)

Kubernetes clusters and supporting services

Manage Terraform state, environments, and versioning safely

Follow best practices using terraform plan/apply workflows
🔄 CI/CD Automation (GitHub Actions)

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

Automate:

Application build and deployment workflows

Terraform validation and infrastructure deployment

Kubernetes application rollouts

Implement branch protection rules, approvals, and environment controls
☁ Cloud & Runtime Operations

Work with AWS or Azure cloud platforms

Configure IAM / Entra roles, secrets, and access policies

Manage container images and registries

Ensure infrastructure is secure, reproducible, and cost-efficient
📊 Observability & Operations
